Raghav Bahl, 45 years, is the Managing Director of the group. He began his working life as a management consultant with A.F. Ferguson & Co. His second corporate job was with American Express Bank - before he turned to his first love, media. Winner of the Sanskriti Award for Journalism in 1994, Raghav has over 23 years experience in television and journalism. He started his career in media in 1985 as a Correspondent and Anchorperson for Doordarshan. He was the Anchorperson and Production Consultant for India's first monthly video newsmagazine, Newstrack, produced by the India Today group. From 1991 to 1993 he was the Executive Director of Business India Television and produced the Business India Show and Business A.M. on Doordarshan. He has written articles for The Times of India, The Statesman and The Pioneer. Raghav is a member of World Economic Forum (WEF).

He did his Graduation in Economics Honors from St. Stephens College, and then did his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Delhi. He attended a doctoral program at the Graduate School of Business, Columbia University, New York.

Sanjay Ray Chaudhuri, 40 years, is an Executive Director in the group. He started his career as an independent documentary film-maker for Doordarshan. He went on to direct and present India's first indigenously produced show for satellite television, The India Show. He also received the Onida Pinnacle Award for Excellence in Television in 1995. He has also directed quite a few music videos, corporate films, ad films, chat shows, game-shows and business shows for television. He handles programme development and design and looks after the creative and technological aspects of production for Network18.

He is an English Honours Graduate from St. Stephens College, Delhi University. He also holds a Degree in Masters in Mass Communications from the Mass Communications Research Centre.

Haresh Chawla, 40 years, is Group CEO of Network18. He has been in this position since December 1999, when he joined Network18. Under his leadership and guidance, the Group has been transformed from a production house to India's No.1 News Network, has grown from a 180 strong team to a 2500+ team and has attained leadership positions in all its ventures in the news broadcasting space - CNBC TV18, CNBC Awaaz, CNN IBN and IBN7. Haresh's previous assignments have all been with start-ups including the HCL Group, where he headed business development for HCL Comnet; ABCL, where he set up the Film Distribution Business, and at the Times of India Group where he launched their music label - Times Music.

Haresh's varied experience of 17 years in media and technology has also enabled the Group to identify Internet spaces that have now achieved leadership positions - moneycontrol.com (Asia's leading financial portal), commoditiescontrol.com (India's leading source for commodity information and research), ibnlive.com (No 1 site for general news), and poweryourtrade.com (subscription-based equity site). This year, the Group has acquired the Indian arm of jobstreet.com (Malaysia-based job portal) and set up Yatra.in (a travel portal) along with Norwest Venture Partners. Recent acquisitions under his leadership include compareindia.com, cricketnext.com & urbaneye.

Under his leadership, Network18 continues to identify new ventures - greenfield and acquired - and hopes to maintain the exponential growth trajectory that it has seen in the last 7 years.

He holds a degree in Business Management from IIM - Calcutta and is also an alumnus of IIT-Mumbai.

Sameer Manchanda, 45 years, is the Joint Managing Director at ibn18 Broadcast Ltd. (formerly GBN), a Network18 Company a 74:26 joint venture between the Group and professionals (Rajdeep Sardesai, Sameer Manchanda and Haresh Chawla), has a mandate to launch channels in the general news space. Sameer has bee n instrumental in setting up the company and striking key deals for the channels. Prior to the formation of GBN, he closely associated with NDTV since its inception in 1988. He has considerable and varied experience and expertise in strategic and financial planning, corporate finance, capital structuring and restructuring, funding, business valuations, media sector operations, mergers and acquisitions, collaborations and joint ventures. He has been a member of the Finance Committee of the Indo-American Chambers of Commerce.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Rajdeep Sardesai, 41 years, is the Editor-in-chief. He comes with 18 years of journalistic experience during which he has covered the biggest political stories in India and hosted the popular Television debate show 'The Big Fight'. Prior to setting up his own channels, he was the Managing Editor of both NDTV 24X7 and NDTV India and was responsible for overseeing the news policy for both the channels. He has also worked with The Times of India for over 5 years. He has won numerous awards for excellence, including an Asian Television Award in 1998. He has also been the recipient of 'News Anchor of the Year' award for the last 3 consecutive years.

He has done his Masters and LLB from Oxford University.

Vandana Malik, 50 years, is an Executive Director in the company. She started working for Network18 in 1994 as Mumbai Bureau chief. Prior to Network18, she had a brief stint with Business India group as Editorial Coordinator. At Network18, she has scripted & directed many features and profiles of various artistes for The India Show. For India Business Report, she has interviewed prominent business personalities. She also headed 18 Entertainment, a division of Network18 company.

She is a History Honours Graduate from Delhi University.

Raman Deep Singh Bawa, 56 years, is the Chief Financial Officer for the group. He has 31 years of related work experience in cash flow planning, budgeting, liaison with banks and financial institutions, handling of public issues, project implementation, taxation, secretarial and other legal matters, MIS etc. Prior to joining Network18, he has worked with BHEL, Trackparts of India Limited, Weston Components Limited and Bestavision Electronics Limited.

He is an Honours Graduate from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University and a Chartered Accountant.

B Sai Kumar, 34 years, is the Group COO of Network18. He joined the Group in the year 2000 and has since been responsible for brand communication and revenue generation for all brands of the Group. He has been instrumental in bringing CNBC TV18 and CNN IBN to the leadership position they enjoy in the marketplace and has been responsible for the several marketing innovations that have driven the Network18 to becoming India's Largest News Network and India's fastest growing Internet company today. Prior to joining the Network18 Group, Sai was with the Times of India Group, where he worked with Times Music, Times Retail and Times FM.

He is an MBA with a specialization in Marketing and graduated with specialization in Statistics.

Senthil Chengalvarayan, 44 years, is the Managing Editor. He leads the team of professional journalists that has made CNBC TV18 the most successful business media network in the country. He has been a business journalist for over two decades. After spending his initial years in the profession with various Business Dailies he joined Television Eighteen in 1994 just as the company was pioneering the entry of private companies into Television News. He's seen the industry grow then from uncertain beginnings to the phenomenon that it is today.

A Graduate in Economics from Madras University, he has done his Masters in Journalism from the Times Research Foundation

Udayan Mukherjee, 35 years, is the Executive Editor. His first assignment was with United Television where he worked for four years before joining CNBC Asia as Special Markets Correspondent when they commenced operations in India. He subsequently moved to Network18 and apart from working on the daily business news bulletin, he anchors live market shows like Bazaar Morning Call and other daily and weekly shows like Corporate Radar and Taking Stock.

He is an economist, having obtained his B. Sc. in Economics from Presidency College, Calcutta and M.A. in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.

Sanjay Pugalia, 46 years, is the Editor. He is a journalist with 25 years of experience across leading media organizations, both print and electronic. Prior to joining Network18, he was the News Director at Star News, having helped Star TV make its successful foray in the business of new dissemination in India. He also served as the Executive Editor of Zee News and deputy Executive Producer at Aaj Tak when these channels were evolving only to redefine Hindi TV journalism later on. His earlier experience also includes stints with the Navbharat Times, the Business Standard and BBC Radio. He has covered both political as well as corporate events with utmost ease.

He has done his Graduation in Political Science & History.

Ashutosh, age 41 years, is the Managing Editor. Prior to joining IBN7 he was the member of Aaj Tak, a leading Hindi news channel, for more than ten years. He was one of the Prime Time anchors on the channel. Other than anchoring, his real strength lies in news management on the desk as well as in the field. He has widely covered India from one corner to another, specially elections and Kashmir, that too when terrorism was at its peak in Kashmir. At IBN7, he is responsible for the overall editorial content that goes on the channel and heads a team of more than 250 journalists. He is also the only Hindi language TV journalist in independent India who was selected for Dag Hammejoldt UN Scholarship. This scholarship is given every year by UN to 4 young journalists from more than hundred third-world countries.

He is a Post Graduate in MPHIL (Soviet Studies) and MA (Philosophy & International Studies).

Surya Mantha, 44 years, is the Chief Executive Officer of Web18. He has 16 years of experience that spans business management, consulting, product and service development, product management & marketing across a range of business and consumer software, hardware & services companies. In his last job, he was the Sr. Vice President-Interactive Services with Sify India. Prior to that he has worked for RealNetworks-Seattle, PRTM (a leading management-consulting firm) in US & with Xerox Corp. US.

He is a Btech from IIT Kanpur, has a PhD in Computer Science from University of Utah & an MBA from University of Rochester, New York.

Sandeep Bhargava, 41 years, is the Chief Executive Officer. He comes with a rich experience of 17 years mainly in advertising & film production. He started his career with a year's stint with Lintas and then moved on to Mudra Communications where he worked on Client Servicing and worked on various important brands. Subsequently, he spent 3 years at Bates India where he was the Associate Vice President in Kolkata. He moved into the movie business by joining UTV Pictures and was their COO for a year & a half while heading various divisions. His last assignment was with Sahara One where he was the CEO for their motion pictures division for 2 years before taking up the assignment with Network18.

He is a Commerce Graduate with a MBA in Marketing & International Business from University of Akron, Ohio.

Sundeep Malhotra, 46 years, is the the Chief Executive Officer for the recently incorporated " Home Shopping Venture". Prior to joining Network18, he was the Executive Vice President Sales with PepsiCo India. In the six years with the organization, he was responsible for building & activating the fast emerging On Premise & Modern Trade sales channels for India & the Subcontinent. He was also spearheading the Key Customer relationships and building system capability to manage critical channels & relationships. Prior to Pepsi, he had a 5 year stint with Benetton India, as their GM Sales & Marketing for the Indian subcontinent and a 10 year stint with Bata India Ltd, across various functions from Brand Management to Retail Head.

He is a Graduate from Delhi University & has done his Masters from AIMA, Delhi.

Pankaj Aher, 40 years, is the Chief Executive Officer of NewsWire18. He started his career with The Financial Express in 1991.  He subsequently worked with Business Standard, Dow Jones NewsWires, and BridgeNews before setting up CRISIL MarketWire and then, NewsWire18.

He has done his Masters in Political Science from the Mumbai University.

Prakash Iyer, 45 years, is the Managing Director of Infomedia India Limited. He joined Infomedia in 2004 and has been instrumental in growing the company's portfolio of special interest magazines, building partnerships with international publishers and expanding Infomedia's Yellow Pages footprint across the country. He also spearheaded the company's foray into the publishing BPO space.

Prakash started his career with Hindustan Unilever Limited and has over 21 years experience in sales & marketing. Prior to joining Infomedia, Prakash spent six years with PepsiCo - last as Executive Director for South India and Sri Lanka before moving to PepsiCo China as Regional Vice President. He has done his Masters in Political Science from the Mumbai University.

He is an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad.

Sarbvir Singh, 36 years, is the Managing Director of Capital18. He comes with 12 years of global experience in investment management and business operations. He started his career with Emerson Electric in Hong Kong, responsible first for business development across Asia and then marketing in China. Subsequently, he spent five years with Citigroup in New York, where he was responsible for making investments in the global consumer sector. Most recently, he was co-managing an investment management boutique that invested private client assets in India.

He holds a degree in business management from IIM Ahmedabad and is a graduate of IIT Delhi.

Farhad K Wadia , age 45 years, is the Chief Executive Officer of E18 . Farhad has 25 years of rich experience in Entertainment, Events and Marketing Promotions and has successfully staged over 300 events across the World . He has also run an extremely successful Event Management Company & Sound Recording Facility in Bombay called  Power Production , as the Founder  CEO. He was also with Channel 4 Radio & TV Networks UAE & Ajman TV as the General Manager of the Entire Network,   heading their  Events, Sales & Marketing. In his last assignment, he was working with Hindustan Times in New Delhi as Vice President - Events & Marketing.

He is a graduate in Arts (Economics) from Ephinstone College, Mumbai & has also done a course in Sound Engineering / Music business at the Elephant & Castle Polytechnic, London.

Indrajit Gupta, 40 years, is the Editor of Network18’s forthcoming premium business magazine, which will be launched in alliance with Forbes. Before joining the group, he was the Resident Editor of the flagship edition of The Economic Times in Mumbai. He served as National Business Editor at The Times of India during the big newspaper war in Mumbai in 2005.In 1994, he switched from a career in advertising at HTA (now JWT) to join Business Standard, where he edited The Strategist, a prestigious management and marketing weekly as its Deputy Features Editor. He then joined Businessworld as part of its leadership team and played a key role in transforming BW into the country’s leading business magazine.

Indrajit was nominated for the British Chevening Fellowship for Print Journalists awarded by the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office in 1999.

He is an alumnus of the SP Jain Institute of Management and Research in Mumbai and also holds a B.Com (Honours) degree from St Xavier’s College, Calcutta.
